1. What this site is
alexanderhordeman.com is my personal site. I’m Alexander Hordeman, a Creative Director, and this site maps the businesses, bands and projects I run under hordeman.co and links out to their sites and profiles. I respect your privacy and collect as little as possible.
2. Information collected
- Direct communication. This site has no contact form. If you message me on Instagram or LinkedIn, or email about this policy, I receive what you choose to send. I use it only to reply.
- Hosting logs. The host (Vercel) records standard access information such as IP address, browser type, referring URL and time of request, used for security and performance.
- Cookieless analytics. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and link clicks without cookies and without building a profile of you. Visitors are not tracked across sites and data is reported in aggregate. When you click a link, the name of the link and the section it sits in are counted so I know which links get used.
3. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising, remarketing or social pixels. Because of that, there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, a consent banner will appear first, and non-essential cookies will default to off.
4. Outbound links and UTM tags
Many links leave this site for other platforms. On most of them, a short set of UTM parameters is added to the address (for example utm_source=alexanderhordeman.com) so the destination can see that the visit came from here. They identify this site and the section the link sits in, not you. Referral links never carry UTM tags. Once you leave, the destination’s own privacy policy applies.
5. Embedded players
Some pages offer a Spotify player or a YouTube video. Neither loads until you press play. Until then, nothing is requested from Spotify or YouTube and they set no cookies. Once you press play, the player loads from that platform, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. YouTube videos load from youtube‑nocookie.com.
6. Referral links
The Referral links section on the home page lists services I use. If you sign up through one of those links, I get a bonus or commission, and the service you sign up with will know you arrived through my link.
7. Sharing and retention
I do not sell, trade or transfer your information. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to finish the conversation or keep ordinary professional contact records.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. To ask for any of these, email alexander@hordeman.com.
